After struggling to stay consistent with fitness routines, I finally found three YouTube channels that transformed my health and helped me shed 54 pounds—and counting! I work in corporate America and I work from home so the most common question I get when someone learns that I’ve lost this amount weight is what gym I belong to and how do I stay consistent.

In this post, I share how @FitByMik kept me motivated with her high-energy workouts, how @MadFit made movement feel fun and accessible, and how Juice & Toya’s dynamic duo brought fresh intensity to my routine. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to switch things up, these channels might be the game-changer you need. I also show you that you don’t have to join a gym to lose weight, you can do this from your living room with minimal equipment.

I rotate between my holy trinity of YouTube fitness channels about 4–5 times a week—think full body sweat sessions with a side of upper body sass and lower body burn. For a while, I was team 10-pound weights (we had a good run), but once I felt stronger, I started sneaking in 15s for moves like deadlifts and squats that mean business. I also dabble in resistance bands, a weighted jump rope and ankle weights—those sneaky little game-changers—and I’ll be sharing my favorites soon.

Quick disclaimer I’ll probably repeat more than once: I’m not a certified trainer or nutritionist. I’m just a mom who found what works for her and wants to pass it on. Your body, your journey—so take what helps and leave the rest with love.
